Anxiety Disorder Symptoms of Anxiety Disorder: Teens with
panic disorder problems may experience: unexpected panic attack (or anxiety
attack), consisting of physical and/or cognitive symptoms such as racing
heart, dizziness, blurred vision, fear of death, trembling, sweating,
and shortness of breath. Panic attacks may cause the teen to develop avoidance
behavior, known as agoraphobia.
It is often necessary to place teens with anxiety disorders in a therapeutic boarding school setting. We have information on many treatment centers that have had success in treating anxiety disorder. Contact us so that we can find the right setting for your child. |
